Contribution Trends: Increased Number of Physician and Employee Donors Needed
For 2007-08, the Kaiser Permanente Community Giving Campaign raised a total of $1.4 million dollars for the homeless and underserved. Out of 52,853 KP employees, 9,216 contributed to the campaign. This year, we are hoping to increase the amount of donors significantly. Congratulations to Kern County, the medical center with the highest percent of employee donors at 41.5 percent. KPCGC encourages other medical centers to try to match or beat Kern County's donor numbers!
On the physician side, only 757 physicians out of 6,274 are giving to KPCGC. The campaign would like to congratulate the Region, as well Bellflower and Riverside Medical Centers for having the highest percentage of donors in the region. This giving season, KPCGC will be in the local medical centers answer questions and share information about the importance of giving to the campaign, where the dollars go, and how physicians can really make a difference by becoming a Leadership Donor.
