Contribution Trends 2009 - 2010: Campaign Surpasses $1.5 Million and Gains More 'Leadership Donors'
For 2009-10, the Kaiser Permanente Community Giving Campaign raised a total of more than $1.5 million dollars for the homeless and underserved. Not only did KP pass the $1.5 million mark, it increased its total Leadership Donors by 35 percent.
On the physician side, giving increased 9.2 percent, bringing in a total of $364,175 dollars. Employee giving increased 4.1 percent, raising $1,150,354 dollars.
Part of this year's success was the increase in "Leadership Donors" -- physicians and employees who pledged either $1,000 or 1 percent of their salary. KP had 138 physicians and 204 employees become Leadership Donors this year; those donors were send a letter of acknowledgement and an official Kaiser Permanente Community Giving Campaign pin as a small token of appreciation.
The campaign would like to congratulate the entire Region for its dedication to making a difference in our communities.
