What educational materials will we receive?

Depending on the program, we provide educator guides and lessons, student activity books, wallet cards with health information and hotline numbers, and parent guides. These materials support the program's messages and can help you facilitate a dialogue about issues raised in the program.

We base the content of our materials on the latest health and child development information, and we work with teachers and health educators to design materials that are both educational and fun. View some of our educational materials in the Parents and Teachers section of our website.

Do we need parental consent or parent permission slips?

Nightmare on Puberty St. and Secrets require parental notification since both of these programs deal with issues of sexuality. Consult your school district office for the procedures your school needs to follow. We can provide you with sample permission slips to use if your school has been approved to do so by their district. View sample permission slips in the Parents and Teachers section of our website for Nightmare on Puberty St. and Secrets.
