AUDITIONS for NORTHERN CALIFORNIA EDUCATIONAL THEATRE PROGRAMS!

Auditions for performer/educator positions take place in Oakland, CA, on March 23 and 24, 2010. Callbacks will be held March 27-29, 2010. Our 2010-2011 season begins August 9, 2010.

Please read the following before applying:

  • All applicants must be over 18 years old and able to portray characters high school age or younger. The characters in our plays are approximately ages 8 through 18.
  • Auditions will take place in our rehearsal space, located in Oakland, California.
  • All applicants for the performer/educator position must fill out an official Kaiser Permanente job application before being granted an audition slot. Candidates will be given application instructions upon completing the initial headshot and resume submission (see below).
  • The performer/educator position is a full-time job that lasts approximately 10 months (one touring season). All candidates who are offered the position will be asked to commit to working for the entire season.
  • All candidates who are hired must possess a valid California driver’s license.
  • Please review the job description and hiring timeline before submitting; these documents contain important details that will answer many of your questions about Educational Theatre Programs and the performer/educator position.

  • You will be asked to fill out a short form and upload your recent headshot/photograph and resume.
  • The online submission form is preferred. However, if you have trouble with the online form, you may email your resume and photo to: etpauditions@kp.org. Please send your resume and photo as attachments, not in the body of your email. Photos should be in .jpg or .pdf format.
  • After receiving your submission, we will respond with further information about the audition process. Please add etpauditions@kp.org to your email address book so that your email program does not filter out our response.
