Zip's Great Day
Zip’s Great Day is a fun-filled, interactive performance presented free of charge to elementary school students as a community service of Kaiser Permanente. This lively show uses puppetry, music, dance, and comedy to help children in grades K-5 make healthier life choices, with a focus on dealing with bullying.
Key issues addressed in the play include:
- Getting along with others
- Resolving conflicts
- Eating healthy foods
- Exercising
- Playing safely
- Saying “no” to peer pressure/smoking
The performance, reinforced by lessons in the Workshop Activities, helps children deal with everyday challenges, leading them to recognize that “It's a great day to be a kid!”
