Mascot Descriptions

The Mascot Ambassadors of Health and Wellness are full-body costumed characters who promote healthier living at health fairs, community gatherings, and special events. Whether they are performing on stage, greeting children, or staffing a resource table, the ambassadors share messages about physical activity, safety, and nutrition.

Cardia Heart: A giant heart who demonstrates that physical activity makes hearts healthy and strong.

Marina the Water Otter: A California native who encourages everyone to stay hydrated by drinking water instead of soda and other sugary drinks.

Nutri-Beast: A healthy-eating lion who reminds audiences to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

Super Weevil: A fun-loving insect who promotes wearing safety gear when riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters.
