About Community Benefit Educational Theatre Charitable Contributions Grantees Annual Report

Funding Priorities

Grant support will fall into four program areas:

Care and Coverage for Low-Income People: programs - within a health institution - that lower financial barriers so the uninsured and underinsured gain access to quality medical care.

Community Health Initiatives: Improving health through nutrition, physical activity, general wellness, or the community conditions that influence health.

Safety Net Organizations: Community clinics, public hospitals, or local health departments that provide health care for underserved communities.

Developing and Disseminating Knowledge: Educating consumers and practitioners, advancing research, informing policymakers about care and health, or related public policy initiatives.

General Grants

The Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia 2012 General Grant cycle is currently closed. Check the website periodically for updated information.

We support projects that impact community health. Our priorities focus on issues identified in a recent Community Health Needs Assessment: reducing health disparities; preventing or managing chronic disease (particularly cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, hypertension); expanding access to care for vulnerable populations, and decreasing obesity levels.

Organizations that meet the eligibility criteria may apply for a General Grant contribution. These grants have a restricted purpose – they must align with our health focus areas.
