Information Technology
New information technology is evaluated at the Garfield Center under the auspices of KP-IT’s Innovation and Advance Technology group. This group identifies and assesses new and emerging technology that may be adopted by Kaiser Permanente in the delivery of care three to five years from now.

Medical Equipment and Supplies
Vendors interested in testing new medical equipment and supplies in the Garfield Center may contact a representative of the National Products Council (NPC).
The National Products Council is chartered by Kaiser Permanente to provide leadership and support and to act as the governing body of the product decision making process, which serves to facilitate national standards, define utilization guidelines, contract for all medical and non-medical products, and monitor and report utilization and compliance with standards.
