About

You are invited to join Kaiser Permanente executives and physician leaders to review and discuss effective ways to deliver care for improved health and cost outcomes. Integration and Innovation in Health Care is a learning experience for international health care leaders that addresses such key topics as chronic disease management, clinical practice guidelines, clinical information systems, patients as partners, physician leadership, and innovation in health care.
Integration and Innovation in Health Care starts with a welcome reception in San Francisco on Sunday evening, April 19, 2009 and concludes at the end of the day Wednesday, April 22. One day will be spent at Kaiser Permanente’s national headquarters in Oakland, one day in small groups visiting our medical centers, and one day at our Garfield Innovation Center.
The program fee for the three days is $3,000 USD per person. Group discounts are available for groups of five or more if you contact molly.porter@kp.org and can pay by wire transfer or check. This includes the Sunday evening reception, three days of educational programming with breakfast and lunch, and a Tuesday night dinner. It does not include other dinners or your travel or hotel costs. We have signed a contract with the Argonaut Hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco for a discounted rate of $209 a night (plus tax). Once you register, you will receive information about how to reserve these hotel rooms. We hope to open registration and post the new agenda in November 2008. Currently you can see the agenda for the October 2008 program, which attracted 45 visitors from 14 countries. We limit participation in this program to 45 people to allow for interactive sessions.
Registration is now open. To register, please click the "Registration" link to the left.
