Learnings from the Kaiser Permanente Model (LKPM)

The power of health care integration, innovation, and information systems in a large nonprofit health plan and integrated delivery system

LKPM addresses key topics such as integrated delivery systems and health information technology, population health and chronic care management, innovation and continuous improvement, health promotion and patients as partners, and physician leadership and best practices. Open to participants from all countries, our three-day LKPM program is limited to 60 people. Early registration is recommended, as the programs generally fill up months in advance.

Registration for April 2012 LKPM has ended. Please check this web page again as we announce future program dates. A three-day LKPM will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area in November 2012.

Upcoming Program Dates

  • June 2012 in Washington, D.C. (dates will be announced shortly). This program will include tours of our new, state-of-the-art Center for Total Health and our Capitol Hill Medical Center—a full-service facility offering almost everything except hospital care.

  • September 17-18, 2012 in Southern California. This program will take place in sunny Pasadena, near Los Angeles, and will include a tour of a medical center that includes a hospital.

Agendas for these two-day programs are under development and will be posted here when available. The content will be similar to our April 2012 Agenda.

The fee for the two-day program is $2,400 per person, discounted to $2,200 per person for groups of five or more. The program fee does not include accommodations, but we will gladly help you obtain a discounted group rate at a local hotel. To learn more about our LKPM programs, please email Christine Aguilar or Molly Porter.
