LAPAROSCOPIC RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY

What is laparoscopic radical prostatectomy?

Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure to treat prostate cancer. It has been shown to be equally effective in treating prostate cancer as traditional surgery. The procedure is performed by making small incisions through which specialized instruments, including a laparoscopic camera, are inserted into the body.
