A dedicated physician and leader in nephrology in the East Bay Area, Dr. Law has spearheaded the effort to increase the use of outpatient peritoneal dialysis for chronic renal failure patients. Admired for forming close bonds with his patients, he is also a tireless campaigner for improving the treatment and prevention of kidney disease, in members, their families, and the community. To inform a larger audience about kidney disease, he reaches out to his medical colleagues to educate them, and has created a kidney education class for members in early stages of the disease. He gives generously of his time and talent to the larger world, and takes special pride in having led the Hepatitis B Screening Project in the community between 2001 and 2004.
