Warm, skilled, and caring, Dr. Schreiber is a role model for physicians and staff throughout the GSAA. A psychiatrist with TPMG for nearly 30 years, he has served as Chief of the Department and Chair of The Physician Well-Being Committee for the Hayward and Fremont facilities. In 2006, he was named GSAA Physician of the Year. Committed to a healthy lifestyle, he stays active through running, bicycling, and hiking. An avid student of science, his interest in lifelong learning extends to fields as varied as physics, cosmology, biology, mathematics, linguistics, and anthropology. His colleagues consider him a physician’s physician, agreeing that his skill, compassion, and vision make him one of the GSAA’s best.
