Dr. Rude completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente, Hayward in 1983, and went on to start the Podiatry Clinic in San Francisco. She moved to the Santa Teresa Medical Center a year later, and served for many years as the Chief of the Podiatry Department. She is an active member of the Quality Assurance Committee. In her practice, she provides all aspects of podiatric care, with a special interest in foot surgery. She cares for many patients who have on-going foot problems that result from chronic diseases, such as diabetes, and develops warm relationships with them. They trust her, respect her, and care about her. She, in turn, is dedicated to providing the best medical and surgical treatment possible to keep them active and ambulatory.
