As Chief of Information Technology for the San Francisco Medical Center, Dr. Chan is unflappable in the face of confused, puzzled, and frustrated colleagues dealing with computer issues. He is unfailingly helpful and eager to teach his colleagues new and better ways to negotiate their work day. Despite his relatively short tenure with TPMG, he has lent his considerable talents to a variety of leadership roles, including Chief of the Chinese Module, IT Chief, and now Assistant Chief of Pediatrics. Meticulous and detailed, he orchestrates complex initiatives with apparent ease. He is always cheerful and a pleasure to work with, and his patients in our Chinese module greatly appreciate his bilingual skills.
