KP Quality and Service Senior VP Alide Chase Featured in Institute for Healthcare Improvement Feature

Alide Chase, Kaiser Permanente's senior vice president for quality and service, is featured in the Institute for Health Improvement's latest audio profile of front-line health care improvers.

The profile is presented in a series of short sound files.

Chase spoke candidly to IHI about hospital operations, the role of quality within Kaiser Permanente, and KP's very successful Labor Management Partnership. Chase has been in her current position for four years, and first came to Kaiser Permanente in 1980.

"Our organization has been working very hard for many, many years on our quality agenda and [we] have a great deal of effort and performance and pride in how we deliver quality," Chase said in the interview.
