Loel Solomon Discusses Childhood Obesity Prevention on ABC Channel 7
ABC Channel 7's primetime news recently featured Kaiser Permanente's National Director of Community Health Initiatives, Loel Solomon, PhD, discussing childhood obesity prevention.
Solomon showed viewers how to play "The Incredible Adventures of the Amazing Food Detective," an online video game Kaiser Permanente developed to help children learn ways to eat healthier foods, get more active, and manage how much time they spend in front of a computer or television.
Solomon is responsible at Kaiser Permanente for its Community Health Initiatives for Healthy Eating and Active Living, a national effort to improve health in the communities Kaiser Permanente serves by focusing on environmental and policy changes. Read more about it through Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit website.
