William R. Graber

William R. Graber has served on the boards of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. since October 2004. He serves as chair of the Finance Committee and also is a member of the Quality and Health Improvement Committee, the Compensation Committee and the Executive Committee. Graber is the retired chief financial officer of McKesson Corp., a position he held from 2000 until his retirement in 2004. Founded in 1833, McKesson is a major global health care services and health care information technology company, recognized as one of the most productive American companies by USA Today from 2001 to 2004.
From 1991–1999, Graber was controller, vice president and treasurer/chief financial officer of the Mead Corp. in Dayton, Ohio. From 1965–1991, he was employed by General Electric Co. in various financial management positions at corporate headquarters, and at several of the company’s largest business units.
Graber also serves on the boards of Archimedes, Inc., the Mosaic Co., and the Washington State University Foundation, and has been an active supporter of the American Heart Association since 2001. He and his wife have established an endowment scholarship fund at Washington State University to support innovative and entrepreneurial skills of undergraduate math and science majors. Graber holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Washington State University.
