Kaiser Permanente Ranked Top Health Care Organization on DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity®
Kaiser Permanente ranked No. 3 on the 2012 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity® list and was the only health care organization listed in the top 10.
“Chairman and CEO George Halvorson heads an organization with more diversity on its board and in senior levels than any other we ranked. Specifically, Kaiser Permanente has more than double the representation of blacks, Latinos and Asians in the top level of management than the remaining top 10,” said Luke Visconti, CEO of DiversityInc. “Kaiser Permanente is the national leader in efforts to reduce health care disparities. Kaiser Permanente has evolved diversity from being just a human-capital program to being a driving factor in building a virtuous circle for improving health care. They are a national thought leader.”
