Using a Fan During Sleep May Reduce Infants' SIDS Risk, Kaiser Permanente Study Shows

The hospital, which opened Oct. 1, is Kaiser Permanente's most environmentally friendly hospital to date and has been recognized as one of the "greenest" health care facilities in North America. The 670,000-square-foot hospital features energy-reducing materials and advanced green hospital furnishings and fixtures that use fewer toxic chemicals.
