Flu Shot Saturday kicks off Kaiser Permanente of Georgia's fall influenza campaign
ATLANTA, Ga. – Flu Shot Saturday, on October 11, leads Kaiser Permanente's annual flu vaccine campaign, followed by several other opportunities for Kaiser Permanente members to get their flu shots (shots are not offered to the general public). The nasal vaccine will not be available through Kaiser Permanente.
Flu Shot Saturday takes place at 11 metro area Kaiser Permanente medical centers (below) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Flu shots are free for all adult Kaiser Permanente members. In addition to Flu Shot Saturday, there are other opportunities for members to get their flu shots:
- Walk-in visits at Kaiser Permanente medical facilities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: Beginning Tuesday, October 14 through Thursday, November 13, Kaiser Permanente members can receive flu shots at participating Kaiser Permanente medical facilities (see listing below) on a walk-in basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m. Note: The Brookwood facility will offer flu shots from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Visits to any of four Kaiser Permanente after-hours locations: Flu shots will also be offered at Kaiser's after-hours facilities beginning Tuesday, October 14 through Thursday, November 13. Members can visit any of the four after-hours locations (Cumberland, Southwood, Gwinnett and Panola) Monday through Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members are encouraged to call Kaiser Permanente at (404) 365-0966 to confirm dates and times and availability of vaccine before visiting a center.
