Kaiser Permanente opens 13th medical facility in Georgia

ATLANTA, Ga. – Kaiser Permanente welcomed members to its thirteenth metro Atlanta medical facility on Thursday, July 15, when the Forsyth Medical Office opened in Cumming, Georgia. The new medical office will provide greater access of services to Kaiser Permanente members who live in the area and surrounding communities.

The Kaiser Permanente Forsyth Medical Office is located off Georgia 400, Exit 14, Highway 20, on the Northside Hospital-Forsyth campus and is approximately 12 miles from Kaiser Permanente's Alpharetta Medical Center. The 4,800-sq. ft. leased space has the capacity to serve approximately 5,000 members.

Kaiser Permanente will staff the facility with three physicians supported by a team of clinical and administrative personnel. Lea Danielsen, MD, Internal Medicine, will work at the office full-time. Robert Williams, MD, and Karen Dubose, MD, will provide pediatric coverage. Services include adult medicine and pediatrics. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
