Speakers Bureau Physician Offers Healthy Advice
When he is not treating patients at Kaiser Permanente’s Piedmont and Southwood Specialty Centers, pulmonologist Reggie Mason, MD, speaks to groups about the importance of regular exercise and healthy living.
Kaiser Permanente’s Speaking of Good Medicine is a free community service to groups in the metro-Atlanta area and ideal for brown bag lunches, employee training sessions, health promotions, business and community meetings or informative gatherings.
An avid sprinter, Dr. Mason knows a lot about running. He earned the country's No. 3 ranking in the 400-meter in his age group in 2000.
Dr. Mason and other clinicians in Kaiser Permanente’s speakers bureau have visited more than 100 local corporations, civic groups and community organizations to discuss health topics such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma stress and nutrition.
