Kaiser Permanente Announces Leadership Appointments

ATLANTA - Kaiser Permanente of Georgia recently announced the following appointments.

  • Gordon Church has been named vice president of health plan administration for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia. Church oversees member services, provider contracting and provider relations, claims, appeals, benefit and contract administration, and health plan e-commerce. He brings 25 years experience to his new role, including senior leadership positions with Promina Health System, Inc., Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, and Cigna Health Corporation.
  • Judy Brannan has been promoted to director of specialty services. Brannan, a registered nurse, has been with Kaiser Permanente since 1986 and oversees medical and surgical specialty operations.
  • Bill Jorgensen has been appointed executive director of management information, planning, and analysis. He joins Kaiser Permanente from KKMG LLP.
  • Brad Borum has been named Kaiser Permanenteˇ¦s manager of government relations. Borum manages legislative activity on behalf of the organization. He joins Kaiser Permanente from Cornerstone Communications Group, a local public affairs firm.
  • Trey Ragsdale has joined Kaiser Permanente as the local government and community relations officer. Ragsdale generates positive awareness and support for the organization and develops key relationships within the community. Most recently, Ragsdale held a similar role at MARTA.

Kaiser Permanente is the state of Georgia's largest nonprofit health plan, serving the health care needs of Atlanta metro area residents for 22 years. Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia, Inc. currently provides comprehensive health care services to approximately 275,000 members through 15 medical facilities in a 28-county service, and a network of affiliated hospitals and physicians. The Health Plan provided more than $5 million in community benefit programs and services.
