Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Names New Director of Labor Accounts

HONOLULU — Kaiser Permanente Hawaii announced today that Harris Nakamoto has joined the state’s largest integrated care organization as the director of Labor Accounts.
Nakamoto brings nearly 30 years of local health care management and operations experience. Most recently, he was chief operating officer with ‘Ohana Health Plan. He has also served as vice president and general manager of Health Management Associates, Inc./Summerlin, and chief operating officer of Health Unified, Inc. His experience also includes more than 13 years with the Queen’s Health Systems in various management capacities.
As a member of Kaiser Permanente’s sales and marketing team, Nakamoto will lead new business opportunities and provide central focus and direction for account support and coordination.
Nakamoto received his bachelor’s of science degree in operations research, business management and engineering from the University of Redlands in California.
