Mid-Atlantic States Power Outages — Operations Normal in All Facilities

ROCKVILLE, Md. — As of today, Thursday, July 5, all Kaiser Permanente facilities in the Mid-Atlantic States Region are fully operational.

Due to the recent power outage, our Kensington Medical Center will be closed today, Tuesday, July 3 and tomorrow, Wednesday, July 4. We are working with PEPCO to have power restored by Thursday, July 5.
All other Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States operations are normal and are operational with full power.

ROCKVILLE, Md. — All Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States operations are normal.
All facilites are operational with full power except for Kensington 1 and 2, which are expected to be back online by 8 p.m. EDT. Kensington employees should check the status line for the most current updates.

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Due to the recent weather, Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States is experiencing multiple power outages throughout the region.
We are working with Pepco to resolve the issues. We are also working to update members through kp.org.
UPDATE: Monday, July 2
The following medical facilities will not be accepting patients.
Members should contact their provider directly or call the Clinical Contact Center, as appointments at many of these facilities have been re-scheduled to other centers. The number is: 1-800-677-1112 (toll-free).
- Kensington Medical Center 1 & 2
- Falls Church Medical Center
- George Mason Square Annex
- Prince George's Medical Center
The Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States regional headquarters office is closed today due to a power outage.
Both the Maple Lawn Call Center and Silver Spring Tech Center are operational.

UPDATE: Sunday, July 1
We are still experiencing multiple power outages throughout the region.
The following urgent care operations are closed. Security is on-site to direct members who come to these buildings.
- Kensington Medical Center — members advised to go to Gaithersburg
- Falls Church Medical Center — members advised to go to Fair Oaks
- Camp Springs Medical Center — urgent care will RE-OPEN today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; receiving pediatric walk-in patients
Urgent care is operational at the following centers:
- Woodbridge Medical Center — closes at 9 p.m.
- Fair Oaks Medical Center — open 24 hours a day
- Capitol Hill Medical Center — open 24 hours a day, 202-346-3950
- Gaithersburg Medical Center — open 24 hours a day, 240-632-4200
- Largo Medical Center — open 24 hours a day, 301-618-5916
- Woodlawn Medical Center — closes at 11 p.m.
- White Marsh Medical Center — closes at 5 p.m.
- Camp Springs Medical Center — closes at 5 p.m.
The Regional Lab is on emergency generator but OPEN for operations.
The following buildings currently do not have power:
- Maple Lawn Call Center
- Kensington 1 and 2
- Summit Mental Health Center
- KPIC
- Regional Headquarters
