Kaiser Permanente Ranks Highest in 2012 J.D. Power and Associates Employer Satisfaction Study for Second Year in a Row
Kaiser Permanente leads fully insured commercial health plans in employer satisfaction
OAKLAND, Calif. — Kaiser Permanente announced today that employers ranked the organization’s health plan the highest for two consecutive years among fully insured commercial health plans in the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 U.S. Employer Health Insurance Plan StudySM. The organization received high marks in key factors that affect employer satisfaction such as account servicing, problem resolution, program offerings, cost and employee plan service experience.
Based on a 1,000 point scale, Kaiser Permanente received 718 points — four points over last year and well above the overall satisfaction index average of 675.
“We are honored to have received this acknowledgement two years in a row. It is gratifying to know that our continued focus on these key service factors is recognized by the employer group customers we serve,” said Arthur M. The J.D. Power and Associates 2012 U.S. Employer Health Insurance Plan StudySM examines overall satisfaction with contracted health plans, and is based on responses from 6,571 employers. The study was conducted between April and May 2012.
