Dave Perbix Named Vice President, Occupational Health Sales and Marketing for Kaiser Permanente

Oakland, Calif. – Kaiser Permanente has announced the appointment of Dave Perbix as vice president, Occupational Health Sales and Marketing. He joined Kaiser Permanente in November 2007.

In his role, Perbix is responsible for overseeing KP’s Occupational Health Sales and Marketing department, and ensuring it is closely aligned with group health sales and marketing. He is part of the California sales leadership team.

Perbix reports to Wade Overgaard, senior vice president, Sales and Account Management for Kaiser Permanente’s Northern and Southern California regions.

“Dave Perbix is well qualified to lead sales and marketing for Kaiser On-the-Job, our Occupational Health offering that provides injury and wellness services including medical physicals, surveillance and evaluations through a statewide network of 50 dedicated occupational health centers,” Overgaard said.

Perbix also carries out strategies to expand Kaiser’s leadership and presence in the occupational health market.

Perbix has almost 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Perbix spent almost 10 years at Blue Cross of California/Wellpoint in Anaheim, CA where he was a regional vice president, Workers’ Compensation Sales and Marketing. He served previously as director, Workers’ Compensation Northern California for Unicare Insurance Co. in Walnut Creek, CA.

Perbix’s office is located at Kaiser Permanente’s Walnut Center in Pasadena, CA.

Perbix holds a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from University of California, Los Angeles.
