Kaiser Permanente to celebrate 25th anniversary of medical office caring for North Portland residents
PORTLAND, Ore. – People of all ages are invited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kaiser Permanente's Interstate East Medical Office serving north Portland residents. The festivities are on Thursday, June 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking for the event is at the Kaiser Permanente parking structure, 3500 N. Interstate Avenue. Besides refreshments and free prizes, activities will include free blood pressure checks, a history display, and master gardeners available to discuss safe gardening.
Other activities will include:
- Health-related books and videos for sale.
- Learn about health care research being conducted locally by Kaiser Permanente and how you might qualify to join a study.
- Free photos with Kaiser Permanente's colorful child safety character Super Weevel.
- Save a life by signing up to become a blood marrow donor.
- Learn from TriMet staff about the new MAX line opening next year.
