Kaiser Permanente to hold public forum addressing childhood obesity

PORTLAND, Ore. – Kaiser Permanente is holding a free forum for parents and others interested in the problem of childhood obesity and ways to help youth be healthy and active. The forum will include remarks by a pediatrician and researcher, followed by audience questions. During the forum, children age 6 and older can participate in a healthy physical activity at the forum site. The forum will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Kaiser Permanente's Tualatin Medical Office, 19185 SW 90th Avenue in Tualatin. The forum is free and open to everyone.
