Kaiser Permanente Northwest Names David Lake Vice President, Health Plan Services Administration
PORTLAND, Ore. — Kaiser Permanente Northwest has announced that David Lake has joined the region’s largest integrated care organization as vice president of Health Plan Services and Administration.

Lake has extensive experience in insurance administration. He comes to Kaiser Permanente from Liberty Mutual Agency Corp. in Portland, where he served as vice president, Premium Audit. Before that, Lake was a vice president with Liberty Northwest Insurance.
In his new position, Lake will be responsible for strategic planning, direction and performance for health plan service administration, including claims, membership services, benefits administration and membership administration. Lake will also oversee insurance services.
“David Lake has a wealth of experience in insurance administration, including a proven track record of leadership,” said Sue Hennessy, vice president, Strategy and Health Plan Services, Kaiser Permanente Northwest. “We are delighted to have him join our leadership team.”
Lake received a master’s degree in hospital and health care administration from the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in health education from the University of Utah. He has served in a variety of volunteer and civic positions in Wilsonville, where he resides with his family.
