Kaiser Permanente names William Caswell as vice president of marketing and business development
PASADENA, Calif. – William Caswell has been named vice president of marketing and business development for Kaiser Permanente's Southern California Region. Caswell's responsibilities will focus on integration of product development, account management and sales; marketing, and pricing strategy for the Southern California Region, which covers a geographic area from San Diego to Bakersfield.

In his new role, Caswell will help steer Kaiser Permanente's efforts to introduce new and more affordable health plan offerings that meet the needs of purchasers and members. "Kaiser Permanente and its members will benefit from Bill's excellent leadership skills in this position," said Richard Cordova, President, Southern California Region. "He has a background that is well-suited to our organization's needs."
Caswell brings a variety of accomplishments and experiences to his new post. Most recently he was executive vice president of Southern California Healthcare Systems; and vice president, Strategic Business Development for Huntington Memorial Hospital. Prior to this role, he held senior management positions with NYL Care Health Plan, Maxicare Health Plans, and UniHealth America. In these roles, Caswell worked in numerous Southern California marketplaces in both health plan and service provider organizations.
Caswell earned bachelor's degrees in both economics and biology from Stanford University, and a master's degree in public health and a master's of business administration from UCLA.
