Kaiser Permanente History Blog: ‘A History of Total Health’
“A History of Total Health” is our invitation to you to join us in a discussion of today's health care topics as we draw links to relevant events in Kaiser Permanente’s history. The blog takes its name from founding physician Sidney R. Garfield’s last research project, “Total Health,” which sought to understand and treat the body, mind, and spirit of Kaiser Permanente's members.

What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are xml-based content feeds from assorted Web sites. Each feed provides one or more stories (headline, summary, and link back to the original full-text article), delivered to your desktop reader or web page. This allows you to view updated headlines from multiple Web sites through a single page.

How do I use RSS?
You will need a news reader or aggregator that displays RSS content feeds you’ve selected from various Web sites. These readers can be desktop software (such as NewsGator) or web-based (such as My Yahoo, My MSN, or Google Reader).

Where can I learn more?
The current protocol specifications are maintained by Harvard Law.
