John Cochran, MD, Interviewed on C-SPAN's 'Washington Journal' Program

The June 12 edition of C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" featured a live interview with John H. Cochran MD, FACS, executive director of The Permanente Federation. A recording of the interview is available through C-SPAN's Web site.

Dr. Cochran talked at length about a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Microsoft, announced June 9, to provide greater patient access to health records online. A pilot program will allow patients to, at their discretion, transfer health data between Kaiser Permanente's My Health Manager and Microsoft's HealthVault.

Dr. Cochran also fielded live questions, via both email and phone, to the Washington Journal program.

The entire 32-minute "Washington Journal" segment can be viewed only at C-SPAN's Web site.
