My Health Manager Benefits Featured in Online Tour
A new online tour on kp.org shows how millions of Kaiser Permanente members are using My Health Manager, the most actively used personal health record on the market, for online health management.
Experience My Health Manager was developed to show the experience Kaiser Permanente members can have with the online capabilities and features of My Health Manager. More than 2.3 million Kaiser Permanente members currently use My Health Manager to perform several online health management tasks. Members can:
- Send an email to their doctor
- Make appointments
- Order pharmacy items
- View lab test results
- Act on behalf of a family member
- View information from past visits.
The tour, through three fictional Kaiser Permanente members, shows how members can use My Health Manager to perform various online health management tasks.
The online tour can be found at kp.org's index page through the "Experience My Health Manager" link directly under the "Members sign on" space.
Earlier this year, Kaiser Permanente celebrated the 2 millionth member to sign up to use My Health Manager. Since then, more than a quarter million more members have signed up to use the personal health record.
All Kaiser Permanente members are encouraged to activate their account on kp.org and take advantage of all the features and benefits offered through My Health Manager. Both members and nonmembers are invited to Experience My Health Manager.
