When steps 1- 4 have been completed, you are ready to apply to the nursing program(s) of your choice. Be careful to fill in your application completely and attach all required documents, as incomplete or late applications may be returned. If in doubt on how to answer a specific question on the application, check with the nursing department prior to the application deadline.

• Complete and return application by deadline
• Indicate any courses that you are still taking as of the deadline
• Request that a copy of your official transcripts for prerequisite courses be sent directly to the school by the deadline

Nursing programs have become increasingly more competitive to gain admittance due to the number of applications received and limited number of nursing slots available. It is recommended to apply to multiple schools whenever possible.
