Kaiser Permanente's 50-year history of community leadership
in San Francisco began with civilian workers from the Hunter's
Point Shipyard enrolling in the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan
in 1946. Continuing membership growth and expanding medical
technology has led the San Francisco Medical Center to the
construction and acquisition of several new ultra-modern buildings.
The San Francisco Medical Center is proud of the diversity

As one of the largest providers of health care services in
San Francisco, the Kaiser Permanente physicians and staff
have played significant roles in delivering health care through

Cath Lab.
