TARGET AUDIENCE

This program is designed for RNs with at least two years of experience in Critical Care who want to learn the latest concepts in Critical Care. CCRN certification is recommended but not required.

DESCRIPTION

There are six sessions in the Advanced Critical Care Program:

1. Advanced Hemodynamic Monitoring (2-day class)
2. PCI, Pacemakers, Stents.and Beyond
3. Medical Therapeutics for the Critically Ill (2-day class)
4. Advanced EKG Interpretation
5. Coping with Common Respiratory Issues in the ICU
6. Guidelines and Protocols to Address Medical Urgencies and Emergencies)

An Advanced Critical Care Program certificate will be given for completion of the six classes in the Program.

Advanced Critical Care Program Update will also be presented, with preference given to those nurses who received certificates in the Advanced Critical Care Program in 2007.

PREREQUISITE

Registration for each class will be accepted two months before each class. You may register on-line (see web address below) or by FAXing your registration as usual. You must register separately for each class.
