Uterine Artery Embolization for Treatment of Uterine Fibroids.

The reprinted 55-year-old article describes clinical manifestations and treatment in a series of 20 adults seen within a 22-month period. The accompanying Commentary is both scholarly and personal. Although the condition is now rare in developed countries, these descriptions should be of considerable interest to currently practicing clinicians.
