“Early Fall Maples”

Dr Rathmell is an avid and lifelong photographer whose landscape and botanical
images are available in a number of galleries in Northern New England. “Early Fall Maples” captures
the start of the dramatic color changes in Vermont’s foliage that begin after the first frost
and intensify for several weeks through late September each year before the
leaves fall and the long winter begins.
