Soul of the Healer

"Barking Dog Rapids 2" by Terrance Chang, MD

"Barking Dog Rapids 2"

pastel on pastel paper, 24"x36"

By Terrance Chang, MD

This piece was inspired by Dr Chang's favorite getaway and adrenaline kick
--whitewater kayaking on the South Fork of the American River in Coloma, CA--
and sports photographs of similar layout in gyms. Dr Chang first attempted to
create this piece in watercolor and acrylics but found that pastels worked the best.

Dr Chang is an allergist in the Department of Allergy and Immunology
at the Oakland Medical Center in California.
