DAVID K. MCCULLOCH, MD is a diabetologist with Group Health Permanente. He has published widely in the field of clinical diabetes research at the Universities of Edinburgh and Nottingham in the United Kingdom, and at the University of Washington, where he has held a faculty appointment since 1986. He was a co-investigator in the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT). Since 1994, he has worked with an enthusiastic team of colleagues at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound to help implement innovative strategies to improve outcomes for the nearly 19,000 diabetic enrollees.
