KAY STODD, RN, MSN, CNOR, is an Internal Consultant and Project Director with the California Division. Kay has been in perioperative nursing for over 30 years, including 25+ years in management. She is an active member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) and has published several articles on various topics.
	ALEX ORTIZ, MS, is a Project Manager for KP. He has 13 years experience as an Operational Business Health Care Consultant. His projects have included space planning, strategic planning, and operational analysis of hospital departments. He also has several publications on the use of Operation Research models applied in the health care industry.
	INEZ TENZER, RN, MS, CNOR, CNAA, is Assistant Director, Divisional Nursing, California Division. Her responsibilities include providing consultation to other local and divisional departments; project management, assisting with the design and implementation of the divisionwide automated surgery system; serving as a resource to the nursing leaders within the division; and promoting the image of Kaiser nursing through publication, and presentations at conferences.
