Spine Registry The Spine Registry was designed to prospectively track surgical spine procedures. This registry was developed to
standardize the documentation of key elements (patient-specific, technical and environmental) that impact the
success of spine surgery, document outcomes and peri-operative adverse events, and to create a database to
support future research interests.  The first medical center began participating in spring of 2007. Currently two of three medical centers in SCAL and two of four medical centers in NCAL are participating.   The objective of this registry is to track all implants, procedures, indications, technique, patient outcomes and complications for surgical spine procedures in the Kaiser Permanente system. |
