A case report discusses the onset of acute abdominal pain in an athlete with both osteomyelitis and osteitis pubis. Pham and Scott emphasize the importance of recognizing that both conditions may occur simultaneously and that failure to identify both disease processes could lead to inaccurate treatment and lifelong conditions.
