"A
Friday Walk"
by Dr Mohamed Osman
|
Dr
Mohamed Osman, a physician with Group Health Cooperative, was born
in Somalia; his life there is a major influence in his art. Dr Osman,
a self-taught artist, credits his medical knowledge with enhancing
his art. His work has appeared in group and solo exhibitions. A
Friday Walk, acrylic, recalls Dr Osman's life in Somalia: a
family heads to the golden white beach of the Indian Ocean, a luxury
of living near a coast.
More
of Dr Osman's paintings can be seen in the Soul
of the Healer section.
