"Do
no harm ... a surgeon's prayer" by Ninad Dabadghav, MD, is
an award-winning digital photograph, taken to honor the tireless
and dedicated surgeons who love to practice their art. Dr
Dabadghav hoped to capture the compassion, determination and resolve
of the practitioner in usual surroundings.
Dr
Dabadghav has been a general surgeon with the Permanente Medical
Group for over ten years at the Santa Clara Medical Office in Northern
California. He has specific interests in
surgical oncology and graphic medical art. Dr Dabadghav became passionate
about photography when he received a digital camera two years ago.

is always interested in considering artwork by Kaiser Permanente clinicians
and employees. If you would like to submit art for consideration for
the cover or interior of The Permanente Journal, please use
the following guidelines:
Send
us a high-quality color photograph of your art no smaller than 4x5
and no larger than 8x10. For cover art submission, portrait orientation
is preferred. Please include a cover letter explaining Kaiser Permanente
association, art background, medium and a brief statement about
the artwork (description, inspiration, etc). Electronic and e-mail
submissions are accepted, 600 dpi resolution is required.
