Kitty Evers, MD, is a retired physician from Kaiser Permanente's Northwest Division. She is currently the Medical Director of Physician's Advocate Resources and Lead Physician for the Health and Renewal Program. Dr Evers painted this piece in response to a poem she wrote not long after the bombing of the World Trade Towers.
