Winter 03 Permanente Journal

"Green Woman "
by Mitchell M Danesh, MD

On the cover:
"Green Woman" by Mitchell M Danesh, MD, is a 9"x12" acrylic on canvas. Dr Danesh experiments with color and form to express abstracted beauty. "By abstracting my perception of an aesthetic, I try to achieve an emotional intimacy and perception of beauty with color and form."

Dr Danesh is the Regional Coordinating Chief of Neurology for Southern California, and is based in Woodland Hills, CA. He recently began sketching and painting and is especially interested in conveying a personal emotional link through the portrait. His wife, Miki, is an artist and is his guide in this endeavor.

More of Dr Danesh's artwork can be seen in the Soul of the Healer section.
