Since
1996, a dedicated group of Kaiser Permanente physicians, nurses, and
clinical staff from Sacramento, California have donated their time to
provide free cataract surgery to uninsured patients. This program has
benefited the community by returning people to gainful employment and
improving quality of life. The program has received a local business
community award and many thanks from the grateful recipients of their
expert care.
